In this case we have to wonder why lifepoint stopped the Press-Gainey Surveys (the gold Standard) as used by old DRMC and substituted them with someone of their choosing. I also question the validity of this survey. How many patients were called, which services were rendered, who answered the questions....biker.

At least one reason Lifepoint may have dropped Press-Gainey is that those surveys are truly independent. You can't cheat, which makes things difficult during these times when "Liars figure and figures lie." They will never answer the questions biker poses because it would reveal what is going on. Sorry, but it's just another fraud by Lifepoint. In the end, the market will sort out this debacle--not Lifepoint, and certainly not City Council which remains scared of their shadows--except for Saunders, Castiglione and Tomer. God bless those three for their courage. Dry Fork

Use of Press-Gainey occurred before the sale.

That's exactly the point! The bank guys were so determined to get their hands on the highest possible selling price that they cheated and lied in every way possible. I'm not defending what Lifepoint is doing now, but they were duped just like the rest of the community. But it's up to Lifepoint to figure out how to make it work. Can they sue the creeps who duped them? That would certainly give the community strong reason to respect them and work with them.

Only traditional market forces are going to solve the problems at the hospital. That does not bode well for our community.
