Don't forget...

The Citizen's Committee meets tonight (Mar 13).
The meeting will be held
at the Danville Municipal Building conference room (instead of at the hospital). The meeting is scheduled for 5:15 p.m. tonight.

So does that mean it's an open meeting and anyone can go?

Anonymous said...

That's right. You can go and look and listen--but keep your damn mouth shut.

That's the problem, too many shut mouths.

The tricks are so transparent. They will have a private meeting for employees who are frightened to speak out or admit their dissatisfaction. Art & Company are already getting the hints out that they will have ways of knowing who shows and utters a negative word. So remember that Big Brother is watching, and he'll nail your ass for speaking the truth.

Check out this link and see how the funds are being distributed from another not for profit hospital that was bought by LifePoint.

Let Big Brother watch.
He can get his rear end sued for civil rights violations.Oh yes , he can. When were these hints given out and do you have them in writing ? If you do Oh boy.

OK, so at some point you have to decide, Am I going to be scared to speak and live with whatever happens or have the courage to speak up and try to make a difference? If you choose not to speak at this opportunity you forfit your right to bitch from here on out. If you are afraid to speak because you think you are going to be a long term employee regardless of what happens fine, just resign yourself to living with whatever happens. If you are already disgusted and looking at other options, then one of two things happens; your voice makes a difference and you have a job you can live with, or nothing changes and you go ahead and go elsewhere.

Another Con Alma link that should be passed on to the Citizens Committee and the Regional Foundation.

It seems these folks were serious about their communities health care after the loss of their non-profit hospital. They are really concerned with $3.5 million, imagine what we could do with $200 million!

I was unable to attend the meeting this evening. Please post an update if you were there.

Well, don't count on the Register to let us know what happened. They are bought and paid for.

Seriously....I can't believe that there is no article about the meeting on their website.
And, what happened to posting letters to the editor? They haven't put one on in a week.

They (Register & Bee) don't guarantee they will publish your letter, so they may have gotten some and chosen not to publish. Also, they will edit anything they deem too negative. Continue to write regardless, I would have to think enough letters would at least get a reporter assigned to investigate. What else can you do?

MORE ON THE BANK BOYS....

From:

To the editor,

I agree with Dixie Doss when she writes that Jesus was a sharp-tongued fellow who had plenty to say to the big shots in the New Testament who were trying to run everything and everybody.

But she misses an important point in her lecture to Pastor Charles Warnock of the Chatham Baptist Church, especially after he made out that Jesus was a wimpy guy who went around being nice all the time.

Ms. Doss should have reminded Mr. Warnock of what Jesus did to the evil money-changers in the temple. They were the bankers in their day, and he turned their tables upside down and threw them out.

That's exactly what He would do to the money-changers Ms. Doss says are being protected by Pastor Warnock in his church.

I'm not acquainted with any of these people, but it is so sad to see sugar-coated modern preachers trade in our magnificent Savior for a weakling who could be run over by the big shots. We all are entitled to our favorite sides of Jesus, and I'm partial to the one who gave His life to stand up for what is right, no matter how powerful the adversary.

Even if it's true that big shots run Mr. Warnock's church, I'll bet the big shots do not run the hearts of the people who are in his congregation.

If Pastor Warnock takes Ms. Doss' advice and checks his Bible again, I hope he'll spend some time in the 21st chapter of Matthew. That should make him think twice about protecting the money-changers in his church.

Alright folks, here is your chance to do something. Below is the link to the citizens commission website. The first item is a list of members with their e-mail addresses. You can simply click the address and send them an e-mail. Better yet copy the body of your email and then paste it in an email to each member, only takes a few minutes to get your opinion to each and every member. I have already sent each a brief message encouraging them to visit this blog. There is also a comment forum there that you can post to.
