hmmm...as much as Arthur likes to have his name in print...wonder if anyone has tried to contact him from the paper for a report?
Sources say, we're in deep pooo...

Be a good time for the citizens group or city council to put the proverbial "foot down"! There is no way an agency that is so hardcore on paperwork is this incompetent.
Smells like a spin job.!

Or it could be he is holding it in his hip pocket to release with some anticipated "BAD" news. One of those, "I have god news and bad news". Something to soften the sting.

Wake up. It's gonna be good news and it will be released tomorrow night at the commission meeting.

Makes sense, leave your employees in the dark and save good news for when it best serves you. Meanwhile let yor employees accept job offers elsewhere because they have no clue whats going on with their employer.

Stay tuned fans. Rumor has it that a change may be afoot for one in the hierarchy at DRMC.

Could it be Wild Bill?

Or, maybe Dan-the-Man?

Or even, the Art-ful Dodger?

Just a rumor for now. Cannot verify or validate, so don't bet money you can't afford to lose at this time.

Dunno, but anyone watching Jess Judy with Arty knows from Jess' body language that his confidence in him is low. He can't help squirming when Doloresco talks. Or maybe he has fleas or someting.

Is it just me, or does Ruth actually "get it"?
Hopefully she will still be there when the dust clears. I think she understands the situation and the limitations that have been put on us.

Heard from some today that Art had told them personally that we were accredited. They said he came through their dept. a week ago saying so and thanking them.

The official word from the Joint Comm is basically it takes from 30-120 days to render an opinion and the website is updated daily.

It takes that long before results are available online for public viewing.

Know for a fact that once again Arthur has put a spin on our accreditation...he is actively minimizing the results!!
Some even say, "Art is lying again".

How many ways can you spin this?

HAccredited is awarded to a health care organization that is in compliance with all standards at the time of the on-site survey or has successfully addressed requirements for improvement within 90 days following the survey.

Provisional Accreditation is awarded to a health care organization that fails to successfully address all requirements for improvement within 45 days following the survey, or fails to achieve an appropriate level of sustained compliance. (Prior to 2004 Provisional Accreditation had the same meaning as Preliminary Accreditation described below.)

Conditional Accreditation is awarded to a health care organization that is not in substantial compliance with the standards, as usually evidenced by a count of the number of standards identified as not compliant at the time of survey. The organization must remedy identified problem areas and subsequently undergo an on-site follow-up survey.

Preliminary Denial of Accreditation results when there is justification to deny accreditation to the organization as usually evidenced by a count of the number of non-compliant standards at the time of survey. The decision is subject to appeal prior to the determination to deny accreditation; the appeal process may also result in a decision other than Denial of Accreditation.

Denial of Accreditation results when a health care organization has been denied accreditation. All review and appeal opportunities have been exhausted.
