Slow news days?

Well, not really....just been laying low so far this week. There's been enough stuff going on, so I'm just waiting to see how it plays out.

Senior management was in for a visit....had some meetings with middle managers....also rumor has it that the senior managers had a conversation with Coy Harville.

I was told that the boys at the bank got one of their own appointed to Lifepoint's board. Does anyone know if that is true?

As for the visit from Lifepoint suits: Carpenter came along with Jess Judy. They met with a variety of locals, in separate meetings, including Deloresco, Coy Harville and Dan Sleeper, Mayor Wayne Williams, the editorial staff at the Register. The most interesting meeting I heard reported was the one they had with the Bank Boys who sold them the hospital.

Pretty discouraging that all this could happen and the newspaper not report even a reference to it. All that seems to have come out of it are the ridiculous new "Dancin' Preacher Ads." --Been There
