Agent Mulder was right....'trust no one'

If you haven't gotten a chance to read it yet, be sure you check out Kinney Rorrer's opinion article in today's Register & Bee. As if the title "We must all watch them" isn't enough to grab your attention, how about this.....
"Considering their bleak track record, the members of the Danville Regional Foundation should be watched and challenged at every step by our elected officials, the news media and, of course, the public."

or this...
"The Danville Regional Foundation....is dead wrong in dismissing the ongoing controversy at the hospital by stating...that the 'manner in which (the hospital) is being operated....is in the past.' This may be true, for the extremely wealthy, but for the thousands of us who must rely upon the hospital, the manner of its operation is very much in the here and now -- and is of life-and-death importance to each of us."

Lifepoint unknowingly bought itself a tar baby.

I would say Lifepoint was duped by the filthy five hoping to control the $219 mil through American National Bank..hadn't happened yet..we need to all watch that.

The members of the Danville Regional Foundation should be investigated. Sounds like a major conflict of interest when the "filthy five" are using the money for the "community" by funding projects that will benefit thier pockets. The citizens of Danville need to take a stand and say enough is enough. A challenge to all Danville citizens: DO NOT PATRONIZE THE BUSINESS' OF THE FILTHY FIVE" That would be the first step. Blog readers need to show this blog to everyone you know. Keep the posts coming. Make the citizens aware.

If everyone would boycott the "filthy five" and bring down their businesses like they did our hospital then maybe they would see where the employees (or what is left of them) are coming from. How would they like to be a part of a company that is falling down all around them. Then we would have the chance to say it was in their best interest!
